Dina and Matteo – August 1
We were honored to be a part of Dina and Matteo’s big day, the cameras almost couldn’t capture the beauty of the day…Almost…
Upon our arrival at the groom’s house located in Kleinburg, we found that the festivities had already begun. The first photo of the day was of the groomsmen having a celebratory drink before getting dressed in their tuxes. Matteo was absolutely beaming, for the whole day. What a lucky couple, to have found each other.
We filmed the wedding preparation video with the groom and his friends and family. They are all lovely people and the weather was absolutely perfect for such an event. On to see the bridal party at Dina’s house located in Woodbridge for preparation filming, where all the girls were having their hair and makeup done. Dina looked stunning before even donning her gown – which was incredibly unique and original considering it was a very popular style. The beading detail was positively exquisite. We were greeted and treated warmly. All very wonderful people.
Once we got to the St.Clare of Assisi church on St Francis Ave also located in Woodbridge, there was no time wasted… they walked down the isle and made their vows. The ceremony was beautiful, and in the couple’s native language of romantic Italian. The churches altar had a breathtakingly gorgeous Catholic motif painted into the stone behind it. It was amazing! We certainly got some nice video and photography there – just wait until it’s finished.
After they said their I Do’s, Dina and Matteo got into their classic Rolls Royce, and we all followed to a nice little park in Kleinburg for wedding photos and interviewed some of the Groomsmen and Bride’s maids for the video. We also took some beautiful photos at the Kleinburg Railway Station located on 10391 Islington Avenue. This was such a nice spot for photos. The sun was shining, it was perfect.
Then came brunch back at Dina’s. The food was incredible. Particularly the lamb. Shout out to Me, My Chef and I, the caterer who cooked. We had just enough time to take a few pictures by the pool of the wedding party and family, before, all of a sudden, the rain came. It passed by quickly, yet it was torrential. Matteo rushed to get an umbrella and held it over his new wife. It was symbolic of how they would make it through life’s stormy weather together. You better believe Hollywood Timmes got a photo of that! Another beautiful moment captured on film – just in the true spirit of what we do.
The rain stopped and the sun came out again, just in time to go to the beautiful venue at Eagles Nest Golf Club located on 10000 Dufferin St. in Maple. What an amazing landscape and the hosting couldn’t have been more gracious. The décor was done by us, and was fabulous, if we do say so, ourselves… after dinner, the party got underway, everyone danced, there were the speeches, and the cake cutting. We don’t miss a single moment! The venue was kind enough to do some fireworks over the water, and they were spectacular. A perfect end to an awesome day.
